Apple Music Sing brings karaoke to Apple Music. Apple announces Apple Music Sing, a new feature integrated into its streaming music service that allows users to sing their favorite songs with adjustable voices and lyrics in real time. Apple Music Sing offers multiple lyric views to help fans take the lead, perform duets, sing backing vocals and more, all integrated into the Apple Music lyric experience.

Along with an ever-expanding catalog of tens of millions of the world’s most singable songs, Apple Music Sing makes it easy and fun for anyone to join, how and where they want. Apple Music Sing will be available later this month to Apple Music subscribers worldwide and can be used on iPhone, iPad and the new Apple TV 4K.
“The Apple Music lyrics experience is consistently one of the most popular features of our service,” said Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Apple Music and Beats. “We already know that our users around the world love to follow their favorite songs, so we wanted to further evolve this offering to enable even more engagement around music through singing. It’s really a lot of fun, our customers will love it». Apple Music Single includes:
- Adjustable vocals: Users have control over the vocal levels of a song. They can sing in the artist’s original voice, take the lead, or mix millions of songs in the Apple Music catalog.
- Live Lyrics: Users can sing their favorite songs with animated lyrics that dance to the rhythm of their voice.
- Backing vocals: Simultaneously sung vocal lines can be animated independently of the lead vocal to make it easier for users to follow along.
- Duet View: Multiple singers are displayed on opposite sides of the screen to make it easier to sing duets or songs with multiple singers.
Apple Music will also launch a suite of over 50 dedicated accompaniment playlists featuring all the epic songs, duets, choruses and anthems that have thrilled people around the world to sing along, fully optimized for the Apple Music Sing experience.
Apple Music Sing, devices and availability
Apple Music Sing, included in the Apple Music subscription, will be available later this month to Apple Music subscribers worldwide. Apple Music Sing will be available on all compatible iPhone and iPad models, as well as the new Apple TV 4K.
