Apple Pencil for iPhone, maybe it exists but it has been cancelled

Apple Pencil for iPhone, maybe it exists but it has been cancelled. If we were to report every little indiscretion on the iPhone and future Apple news, it would take twice as many macitynet editorial staff with the risk, however, of reading imaginative or risky previews: even if the rumor of an inexpensive Apple Pencil, perfect for the iPhone 14 and also for the iPad 2022, comes from a source whose reliability is not yet fully proven, indicates interesting details that seem to fit with Apple’s current product catalog.

New iPhone apps that offer real-time Activities

In fact, according to the rumor that starts from the Chinese social network Weibo, together with the iPhone 14 in its September keynote, Apple should also have presented a new version of the Apple Pencil, devoid of some key technologies and functions, but much cheaper, with support also for iPhones.

To contain the cost, the stylus would not be equipped with pressure sensing and would not even require a rechargeable battery: for operation, Apple would have developed a chip that allows the stylus to be powered via the screen. Technology and solution are compared to what Samsung did with the S-Pen, but it should be remembered that it is Wacom licensed technology.

Thanks to all these solutions, the first Apple Pencil ready for iPhone would have been offered for sale for only 49 dollars, unfortunately Apple would have decided at the last moment not to proceed with the launch and marketing for an unspecified reason. From the Chinese social network, the indiscretion is reported by the leaker who signs himself DuanRui. The decision to cancel this accessory would have been taken after one million units had already been built, products that now appear destined for recycling.

Not all the details of the story are convincing, in any case it should be noted that several times over the years, advances have periodically emerged, as well as various specific patents, for Apple Pencil for iPhone, but so far nothing has ever materialized.

In any case, the idea of Apple Pencil mini for iPhone also seems ideal for solving a small dilemma of users of the new tenth generation iPad 2022 in a more elegant way. In fact, this model only supports the first generation Apple Pencil with Lightning connector, but the tablet is equipped with a USB-C port, so to recharge it you need a $9 – 10 euro adapter. A cheap Apple Pencil that doesn’t need to be recharged would be ideal.
