Create a collection

To remove a place added to the collection, simply click on the Edit button in the lower area of the Collections tab, then select the points of interest to be removed and finally click on the Delete button.

Share a collection

When the collection is ready, you can proceed with sharing. To do this, just click on the Share button visible in the lower area of the Collections tab. The usual Apple sharing screen will appear: at that point you can select the app icon through which you want to share the collection, or via email.

Whatever the case may be, the app will generate a unique URL to recipients, who just have to click it to open it within Apple’s Maps app.

Apple’s Messages app is perhaps the fastest and most universal way to share a Collection, this is because the app is designed to offer a preview of the collection along with other useful data so that those who receive it can already do a idea of what is going to open.

When the recipients of the message open the collection within the Apple Maps app, they will also be able to add it to their collections by clicking the relevant button, in order to always have it at hand without necessarily having to find the link previously received.
