iPhone 15, all models expected with more powerful batteries

iPhone 15, all models expected with more powerful batteries. According to new reports, the iPhone 15 will benefit from an increase in battery capacity, which will be 18% larger, while the iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro may enjoy a 14% larger battery, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max 12%. Here’s exactly how many mAh the next iPhones will have, according to the latest rumors.

The table below, as published by macrumors, indicates that the iPhone 15 will have a 3,877 mAh battery, while the Plus model will have a 4,912 mAh battery, with the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, respectively, of 3,650 and 4,852 mAh.

If correct, these changes would mean that the 15 Plus would further increase its battery capacity lead over the Pro Max model, while the 15 Pro would remain the iPhone model with the smallest battery.

Unfortunately the reliability of the source, indicated in a Foxconn employee, is not verifiable, but the reported capabilities seem plausible, especially considering the fact that this year’s iPhone models are expected to become slightly thicker than current models, therefore offering more internal space for larger batteries.

With the efficiency improvements of the A16 and A17 Bionic chips, combined with the more powerful accumulators, it seems very likely that the entire iPhone range will boast improvements in overall autonomy.

ITHome also highlighted separate information, attributed to Foxconn and circulating on Weibo, that the iPhone 15 Pro will come with a base 256GB of built-in storage, doubling the current configuration of 128GB of base storage. This could become another key differentiator between the Pro and non-Pro models, as the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are still expected to be available starting at 128GB of storage.
