In a note sent to investors and reported by the Macrumors website, Pu says that the dual camera system of these models will take advantage of a new sensor capable of capturing more light and improving the overall quality of the images.

From checks carried out by the analyst at the Apple supplier chain, the “stacked” sensor (two layers of stacked circuits) would be causing performance problems, an element that could lead to a delay in the production of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. The new devices for now they are expected by September, as usual.

Apple offers the 48MP primary (wide-angle) camera on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, offering support for ProRAW photo recording; this format combines the information of the standard RAW format with the graphics processing of the iPhone allowing you to take advantage of additional creative controls when making adjustments to exposure, color and white balance. On iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, Apple ProRAW is available on all cameras, including the front camera. Apple ProRAW is not supported in Portrait mode.

Pu was previously the first to report that the iPhone 15 Pro won’t use solid-state buttons as previous rumors confirmed, due to unspecified “design issues.” The same analyst trusts the rumors that the iPhone 15 Pro will offer a titanium body, A17 chip, 8GB of RAM, in addition to the obvious USB-C port.
