Apple Watch Series 9: news for the strap? In addition to the new pink colorway, the upcoming Apple Watch Series 9 could get a new band.

Apple A17 of iPhone 15 Pro, a leaker anticipates Apple

Apple will unveil the Apple Watch Series 9 and Watch Ultra 2 next month at its regular September keynote. According to a new leak, there may be news regarding the strap design, which could be completely revisited.

“Apple is releasing a new band for the Apple Watch made with woven woven materials and a magnetic buckle.”

The new band design may work similar to the Modern Buckle band that launched alongside the first Apple Watch. Apple’s Modern Buckle is a leather strap with stainless steel lugs and a sturdy stainless steel magnetic buckle. You can see it below.

It is only compatible with models featuring 38/40/41mm cases and has a retail price of $149. Apple also makes the Leather Link band, which has a leather exterior and magnets inside.

During the Apple Watch Series 2 and Series 3 era, Apple sold a woven nylon band that used a traditional jewelry clasp. Since discontinuing this style, Apple’s woven bands have been either hook-and-loop-style hook-and-loop straps or closed straps with precise measurements.

Last fall, Apple introduced new types of bands (Alpine Loop and Trail Loop) along with the Apple Watch Ultra. Prior to these, the Solo Loop and Braided Solo Loop strap designs were the most recent creations. Solo Loop bands are sold only by Apple and require you to choose a specific size to fit your wrist. Perhaps the new type of strap could be something like a woven Solo Loop, but with an adjustable fit.

In addition to Kosutami’s description of the new strap design, an image is also provided, but it doesn’t help much.

The upcoming Apple Watch Series 9 should maintain a similar design to the Series 7 and 8 models. For this reason, in addition to the new pink color, the introduction of a new band could make a lot of sense.
