The same tools are available for working with videos as for processing a photo. Now you can apply system effects to the video, turn and cut the video.
To start using the video editing tools in the photo application, select a video in which you want to make changes, and then click the blue button “edit” in the upper right corner. After making changes using any of the tools listed below, press the yellow button “Ready” to maintain the result. The white button “Cancel” will delete all disguised changes.
The interface is divided into six main tools:
1.Video trimming
You can cut the video from both the beginning and from the end. To remove the initial part of the shot material, drag the arrow from the left edge to the right along the time scale. As soon as you start moving this element, the cut part will be marked with gray. The remaining part will be highlighted in yellow. Pre -viewing will correspond to the movements of the frame under your finger. This will help to determine in which place you need to stop. Starting with iOS 13, almost all tools for adjusting images have become available for video. To go to the parameters, on the toolbar, tap the settings icon in the form of a circular dial with points around it.
Here you can open the video and press the usual button of the auto button (icon with a magic wand). Do this – and iOS automatically adjusts the colors, brightness, contrast, saturation and other parameters so that the quality of the video file is noticeably better. As a rule, this function in itself works great. But if you want to change the settings a little, there are several additional options to the right of the improvement tool:

For each of the options below there is a slider to change the intensity of the effect and get the desired video settings. The influence of each of the settings can be canceled by moving the sliders back to a small white point or touching the adjustment effect. The latter will retain the last position of the slider, so when pressing the icon you can return to the previous settings.
3.Filters
Now you can a little embellish your video with your video using one of the nine filters. They differ from those available in the Imovie expansion.
To go to the filters, click on the icon in the form of three intersecting circles on the toolbar. For each filter, a series of miniature images will appear, which you can use by scrolling through the cycle. The filters include:

4.Capturing, turn and perspective
The basic options provide for trimming and turning, and more advanced tools – a mirror display and slope. To gain access to these new functions, click on the trim icon, the last on the toolbar.
Capturing. By default, you can cut the material in any form. Give up the video marker in the corner and move it inside, and then repeat the same operation for other corners until the video is cut to your taste. You can also increase the image with a pinch to choose a new area of cadrot.
Touching the icon before an ellipse with a multi -flower will allow you to fix various options for the ratio of the parties, both for portrait and album. These include: the initial ratio of the parties, the square, 9:16 (or 16: 9), 8:10 (or 10: 8), 5: 7 (or 7: 5), 3: 4 (or 4: 3), 3: 5 (or 5: 3) and 2: 3 (or 3: 2). After choosing the option when dragging the corners, the selected ratio of the parties will be maintained, but you can increase the scale for changing the pruning area with a pinch.
You can cancel the pruning if you do not like changes. This is especially convenient when pruning arbitrary shape. Then you can again press the side of the parties to return to other editing tools.
Turn. In the upper left corner, press on a square icon with a curved arrow to turn the video. Each time when touching the icon, the video will turn 90 degrees clockwise.
Mirroring. When you take a selfie on the iPhone, whether it is a photo or video, then at the preliminary viewing we will see ourselves as we usually see in the mirror. But with the final selfie or shooting a video from the front camera, the results will be turned upside down, as if we were shot from the same mirror. In other words, we look like other people see us.
