MacBook Pro M3 Max specs revealed. Following the characteristics of the Mac mini on the base M3 chip, Apple’s test logs also found mention of the M3 Max, which will be installed in 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros.

The new chip is expected to be equipped with a 40-core GPU and 16-core CPU, which exceeds the current M2 Max chip with 12-core CPU and 38-core GPU. The test version is equipped with 48 GB of combined memory, but most likely this is not the limit – the current generation of MacBook Pro supports up to 96 GB.
Great, cool, but this is already starting to resemble the story of the iPad Pro on M-chips, which, well, obviously have excess power for their tasks. In addition, releasing such productive laptops, Apple eats off a rather tasty morsel from its own Mac Pro and Studio, driving them into some kind of super-professional segment.
