  1. Download the IPSW file of your current system version for your device. You can download it from this site.
  2. Connect your smartphone to your computer. If your Mac has macOS Catalina 10.15, open Finder. Ifyour Mac has macOS Mojave 10.14.4 or later (or if you have a PC), open iTunes. If necessary, start trusting your computer via notification on your smartphone.
  3. Select your device from the side menu. In Finder, select General. In iTunes, select the Browse tab.
  4. On a Mac, hold down the Option key and click the Refresh button. On a Windows computer, hold down the Shift key and click Refresh. The file selection interface will open. Select the IPSW file you downloaded earlier.
  5. After that, your computer will reinstall the current version of the system on your device. Do not disconnect your smartphone from your computer until the process is complete.   6. When the update is complete, a message may appear on the smartphone stating that a carrier settings update is available. Download it, it should fix your problem.
