This was reported by the Korean site The Elec, explaining that Samsung Display has received the authorization from Apple, in advance of the display manufacturers of competing manufacturers such as LG Display and BOE. Apparently Samsung’s competitors have encountered problems in the production phase due to changes requested by Apple on the side of the camera module, choices that are reflected in the production of the panels, suggesting that all this will translate into an advantage for Samsung.

LG Display, the Korean site reported, has obtained conditional approval for the OLED panels of the iPhone 15 Pro, and within a month or two it should also obtain the ok for the panels of the Phone 15 Pro Max. BOE, another supplier which Apple relies on, should be chosen for the panels of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, but has not yet obtained the green light.

It is rumored that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will boast reduced frames, made of titanium instead of stainless steel, with obvious advantages in terms of scratch resistance and greater overall lightness. On the display side there are rumors of screens with LIPO technology or Low-Injection Pressure over-Molding) which, like what has already been seen with the Apple Watch, should allow the iPhone frames to be reduced to 1.5mm against the current 2.2mm. The puzzle of the news concerning iPhone 15 is now defined
